Bibblio is a content recommendation and personalisation solution for digital publishers, with offices in London and Cape Town. Our technology improves user engagement and loyalty which helps our clients drive conversion and yield on their digital properties.
We work with a number of large publishing groups such as Haymarket, Informa, Ziff Davis, William Reed and Metropolis and serve about 100m users with better content each month.
Our goal is to make independent quality publishing increasingly successful and preserve the creative, decentralised web. You’d be joining a small team of curious and determined people.
Reporting into the commercial director, the implementation engineer will guide customers through onboarding by leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of Bibblio’s platform.
This position will be remote-only for now, with the possibility of working from our London office once it is safe to do so.
Work with the sales team to identify a customer’s business requirements and map it to the relevant product features.
Advise customers on the best route for integrating our technology to their platform, taking into account their technical constraints.
Identify and solve technical issues that may arise during customer onboarding when they relate to embed code or involve interacting with API endpoints.
If the problem falls outside of their competency, properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams and update the commercial team on progress.
Be the voice of the customer for product development, communicating customer feedback related to onboarding and using our technology, advocating for customer features and bugs to be prioritised in the product roadmap.
Experience working with the following technology: API, CMS (ex: WordPress), third-party code on websites.
Experience using the following debugging tools: command-line driven diagnosis utilities, Postman or equivalent, code inspector such as Google DevTools and Firebug.
Experience with agile methodologies and tools, such as Kanban and JIRA.
Experience with Google Tag Manager and tracking campaigns is highly desirable.
Familiarity with a UNIX environment is desirable but not required.
Good communicator; can discuss a customer product integration with technical and non technical audiences alike.
Proficient writer; can articulate technical requirements clearly and accurately through written instructions.
Proactive mindset; takes initiative when it comes to problem-solving.
