How to...

Use Bibblio’s recency setting to show your latest content

Timely over timeless

If your site has lots of content but only the most recent stuff is likely to be relevant to your audience (such as a news site), you can prioritize recency so that only posts published within a chosen time span will appear as recommendations.

Factors such as frequency of publication, total volume of articles and value of your historic content can help you determine which setting will work best for you, or whether you need to influence your recommendations with recency at all.

Recency can be adjusted at any time in your Bibblio account or your WP admin if you are using the WordPress plugin.

How recency works

When you set recency you limit the recommendation results to the time window of your choice. This means that content published before the truncation window will not appear in the recommendations.
